Domain registration policy

Last updated 17 September 2026

Registration service

DNOM provides registration services through its underlying registrar, Tucows/OpenSRS. Standard .com, .net and .org registrations are offered for one year. Registry premium names, trademark-claim registrations and internationalised domain names are not supported by this checkout.

You must accept the registrar registration agreement and applicable TLD-specific terms, alongside DNOM purchase terms.

Availability and fulfilment

A search or price check does not reserve a domain at the registry. DNOM checks availability and price before payment and checks again before submitting the registration. Payment confirmation is not registration confirmation. Your account shows each domain’s progress independently, including where a basket also contains premium aftermarket domains.

If registration definitively fails, its registration payment is refunded to the original card. An uncertain registrar response requires reconciliation before another submission or refund.

Domain owner and contact verification

Supply accurate owner details and an email address you control. These details are sent to the registrar to register the domain in the stated owner’s name. Respond promptly to registrar verification emails. Your domain may be suspended if required contact verification is not completed.

Renewals, privacy and DNS

Automatic renewal is off. Registration and renewal estimates are shown separately; the renewal estimate is not a guaranteed future price. Contact DNOM before expiry to arrange renewal. Paid WHOIS privacy is not included. Registrar default nameservers are used initially; contact DNOM for DNS or nameserver assistance.
